The power industry contains its own terms and references - here is a list of some popular terms used in reference to electricity and its generation, transmission, and distribution. This list is not exhaustive. It has also been updated to include some of the current "buzz" words that a few years ago meant nothing to the industry, but as we make our way to "net-zero" on a "modernized grid" changes are inevitable to more than just the language we use.
